The most recent conferences for the Head teachers of our European Schools were held in Placeres in 2017 and Rome in 2023. The next European Headteachers Conference will take place in Vienna in 2027.

Placeres, Spain 2017

75 delegates from across Europe gathered in Placeres in Spain, not far from Santiago de Compostella in October 2017. Keynote speakers included Mariola Lopez RSCJ and Paloma Fernandez de la Hoz RSCJ on subjects including Laudato Si  and Educating from the Heart.

Rome, Italy, 2023

The Covid pandemic delayed our most recent Headteachers' Conference by two years but did not deter the enthusiasm and commitment of over 70 delegates from 50 schools across Europe who gathered at Trinita dei Monti and Villa Lante in Rome for this special three day meeting. Much of our discussion focused on the changes that the pandemic brought to our schools and how we have grown through these as Sacred Heart communities.

Our next Conference: Vienna, Austria, 2027
